Awareness Session on Cervical and Breast Cancer Conducted for Students.
An awareness session on Cervical Cancer and Breast Cancer was conducted for students with the objective of educating them about the importance of early detection, prevention, and timely medical intervention. The session was conducted by Dr. Asra Counaine, Family Physician, Elite Clinic, Bengaluru. The programme aimed to create awareness among students and motivate them to adopt a proactive approach towards their health and well-being.

During the session, Dr. Asra Counaine explained in detail the causes, symptoms, risk factors, and preventive measures related to cervical and breast cancer. Special emphasis was laid on regular screening, breast self-examination, HPV vaccination for cervical cancer, and the importance of early medical consultation. The interactive and informative session helped students understand how early diagnosis plays a crucial role in improving treatment outcomes and promoting preventive healthcare practices.
