Literacy Drive – Spreading the Light of Education and Awareness in the Community

The NSS Unit of our college conducted a Literacy Drive on May 8th and 9th, 2026 at Sudarshan Layout, New Gurappanapalya,. The programme aimed to create awareness about the importance of literacy and basic education among the local residents. NSS volunteers organized a rally with slogans highlighting the value of education and the need to eradicate illiteracy from society. The volunteers actively interacted with local residents and motivated children, youth, and women to pursue education. A street play was also conducted by the NSS volunteers to spread awareness on the importance of education and its role in building a better future. The programme received positive response and support from the community.
