August 19 to 27 2026

As part of the Anti-Ragging Awareness initiatives, a week-long programme was conducted from 19 to 27 August 2026 to sensitise students about the harmful effects and legal consequences of ragging and to promote a safe, respectful and inclusive campus environment.

Students actively participated in slogan writing, speech, poster-making and street-play activities, showcasing their creativity and commitment to building a ragging-free campus. An awareness session by Prof. Mubarak Khan, Assistant Professor of Law, IFIM Law School, highlighted the legal and social consequences of ragging.

The concluding session by Mr. H. K. Damodar Rao, Student Counsellor and Counselling & Soft Skills Trainer, focused on stress, PTSD, substance abuse, ragging, emotional triggers and the brain–mind connection, along with healthy coping strategies and emotional well-being.

The Anti-Ragging Pledge was also administered to the students. Participants and winners of the competitions were awarded prizes and certificates in recognition of their enthusiastic participation and contribution towards creating awareness.

Together, let us build a campus free from ragging, fear and harassment. Say No to Ragging!
