Dr Fouzia Choudhry Chairperson Karnataka Urdu Academy who collapsed after her presidential address in an event Haasile Mutaliya (Achievement of reading) at the Library auditorium in Kannada Bhavan and breathed her last on February 24th 2016.

Condolences meet was organised on March 5th 2015 which was attended by dignitaries who were working with Dr Fouzia Choudhry in developing Urdu Language, all the intellectuals and our college paid rich tributes and recalled her services and termed her period as the Golden period for Urdu Academy where many schemes were implemented that helped in promotion of Urdu language, she was also remembered for her professionalism, humility, straight forwardness among other qualities.

Staff and students got to know much about Dr Fouzia Choudhry which is very rare to see such a human being like her having such characters.
