Women Empowerment Cell

The Cell addresses all the needs of students to become dynamic entrepreneurs. The programmes conducted aim at making the student community enthusiastic towards entrepreneurial activity. Women Empowerment Cell is designed to empower women with a focus on decision making. The activities conducted accelerate academic enhancement, leadership development and cultural enrichment in the lives of young women. The goal of the cell is to bring about the advancement, development and empowerment of women.  This cell creates a feel in women that the college campus is a secure place and second home to them. The cell functions rigorously to look after the security arrangements in the campus and to enhance their status in the society and to face challenges with great courage.

Identification of strong leadership, changemakers among women and girls and building their capacity.

Celebration of International Women’s day on march 8th, every year.

To create a conducive counselling environment for girls to share their problems.

To promote a culture of respect and equality for female gender.

To conduct awareness programmes/ workshops/ seminars/ guest lectures.
