An Essay Writing Competition was conducted as part of the Independence Day celebrations to inculcate patriotism, national pride and awareness of India’s freedom struggle among students. The topics focused on the contributions of leaders, major revolts and movements from 1857 to 1947, and the role of Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army (INA). Students participated enthusiastically and expressed their knowledge and thoughts on the freedom struggle. The activity highlighted the values of courage, sacrifice, unity and love for the nation. Overall, the competition inspired students to respect the sacrifices of freedom fighters and become responsible citizens.
