College welcomed the peer team of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) on February 20th and 21st 2017 for the cycle-1 of assessment and accreditation.

The NAAC Peer Team, comprising the following academicians assessed the quality measures implemented in the college

1. Prof (Dr) Surabhi Banerjee (Founder Vice Chancellor Central University of Orissa) Chairperson.

2. Prof Vani N Laturkar (Professor School of Commerce & Management) Member Co-ordinator.

3. Dr. Chitralekha Chouhan (Former Principal, Govt M H College of Home Science and Science for women Member Academic Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Council, Bhopal Madhya Pradesh) Member.

The peer team carefully perused and analyzed the Self – Study report submitted by the institution, During the institutional visit the peer team went through all the relevant documents, visited the departments and facilities and interacted with the various constituents of the institution. The academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular, sports and extension facilities of the institution were visited. The peer team also interacted at length with the Governing Body, Head of the Institution, faculty, non-teaching staff, students, parents and alumni of the institution. Based on the above exercise and keeping in mind the criteria identified by NAAC, ranked the college Grade “C” based on its curriculum, teaching-learning methods and evaluation, research, infrastructure and learning resources, student support and progression, governance and management and innovations for its assessment.
