Adolescence is the time when people start in earnest to learn about the world and to find their place in it. This involves trying out new experiences, some of which may be risky or even dangerous. The young people in the age group of 10-24 yr in India constitutes one of the precious resources of India characterized by growth and development and is a phase of vulnerability often influenced by several intrinsic and extrinsic factors that affect their health and safety.

A ppt presentation on how Society in general and parental expectations who do not what is normal and realistic with regard to expectations of their children pose a challenge on how adolescents should behave and this will often conflict with adolescent expectations. Students were made aware of the benefits of eating right and exercising , common but ignored problem of depression in adolescent and how depressed adolescent can be identified and helped rather than suffer silently.
Many aspects with respect to the challenges faced by the youth of india were highlighted to our students and how as youth must know what they want and how they want because good and bad Co-exist in the society and must derive inspiration from their role model and live life with proud ,
Madam ALaknanda Adur also emphasized the need for developing the personality , need for positive thinking , cultivating character like honesty, integrity , sincerity and accountability and the core values need to be adopted for the overall development of personality
