Reliving History

 

A day’s historical trip was arranged to Srirangapatna an egg-shaped island town amidst the Cauvery river in Mandya district of Karnataka, a fun-filled trip away from college and home where students had the opportunity to learn in a totally different environment. The places that were visited were Daria Daulat Bagh, Balmuri falls, Gumbaz, Raganathaswamy temple, Triveni Sangam. Overall it was a nice historical town which has retained the old charm, letting our thoughts ponder over history to and from was around 340 km from Bangalore.
