“TEACHERS’ DAY” was celebrated with much grace and enthusiasm. The celebration witnessed an auditorium packed with students, teachers and members of the board of trustees with Chairman Mr R Roshan Baig Minister for Infrastructure Development , Information Public relations and Haj and Chairman Karnataka State Haj Committee Government of Karnataka

Competitions were held  one week prior to  Teacher’s Day to make the teachers feel special about themselves , Various Competitions were held  like  Qirath, Naath, Vegetable Carving ,one minute games, drawing and painting  , fancy dress, lemon and spoon ,Running Race , Musical Chair , Quiz. Prizes  were distributed to the winners .

On the Occasion Prof B Sheik Ali Former Vice Chancellor Mangalore and Goa Universities and Editor-in-chief Daily Salar was felicitated as an ideal teacher .In his Inspirational  speech  to the audience present , lauded the contribution  of teachers  and urged the teachers to be a guiding light to  students , and provide education in such a way so that the students can live and learn together and develop their full potential.

In  his address as Chief  Guest  Dr M A Saleem IPS Additional Commissioner of Police Traffic Bangalore City  delivered meaningful and thought provoking  speech  and  shared his experience as a student  and the role of teachers  in providing education   and  expressed his views on teaching fraternity who  guide students in becoming ideal citizens of our country and whose place in society is of vital importance .

Mr Mohammed Rizwan Nawab Corporator Ward No 171 and Mr G Manjunath Corporator ward No  152  were felicitated  for their victory in BBMP  Council Elections  2015.
