Urdu Day Celebrations – November 9th 2018

ANJUMAN E MUHIBBAN E URDU celebrated 141st birth anniversary of Allama Muhammed Iqbal with traditional zeal and fervour. As every year this year too activities were held to educate students of today. Poetry of Iqbal holds the most important place in the diversity of Urdu language. The students in their presentations highlighted various aspects of Iqbal’s life and contributions and impact of his poetry. Chief guest for the occasion Shri Milansar Ather Ahmed (M A Ahmed) Retired Director All India Radio cited in his message that education must be for a change and for self-realization, highlighted the importance of Urdu language and urged the students to take pride in it and also appreciated madam Dr Shaheen B Kazi for her dedication and humongous efforts in organizing the programme and overwhelming performance by the students was worth watching.
